Two Generations of Craftsmanship

Sharp Painting started in 1991, when John's father set out to build something of his own — a painting company grounded in honest work and quality that speaks for itself. Around 2000, John came on to help with estimates, manage projects, and learn the trade from the brush up. More than two decades later, he runs the business day to day, while his dad still stays close to the crews as project manager.

A Deep Knowledge of Paint

John's path gave Sharp Painting something most contractors can't offer. After earning a marketing degree, he spent years at a major regional paint manufacturer — first as an outside sales rep working directly with painters and job sites, then as a product manager testing coatings and training crews across several states. That means he understands paint from every angle: as the painter, as the business owner, and as the expert who knows exactly which coatings and prep a home or building actually needs.
